Just got back from our 30th anniversary at Hilton Head. Seems like you have been the busy man. Our thanks goes to you and Melinda. I think the library donation was the greatest idea and Marianne must be looking down from some cloud and smiling. Than…

I am soooo sorry I didn' t get to see you at the Reunion. Everyone thought you would be there Saturday night too. I hope all is well. I would have loved to talk about the Gulf coast area. We have been down that way to New Orleans and Biloxi for a car event called Cruzin the Coast. We stayed at the Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi prior to Katrina. I have to admit I like to gamble a little bit!! We have not been back since Katrina.

I hate the seadoos, too! It seems that everyone who gets on one immediately becomes an insane driver. Anyway, we also enjoy anchoring and cooling off. The boat has been relaxing, fun, and a great stress reducer for us. Our kids enjoy it, too.
I hate not to get to see you, but I also hope we can stay in touch. Have a safe trip to Nashville and enjoy yourself tremendously.

Amen, sister. I'm still there, over 37 years later. Retired from Ford Sept. 1st and I'm working for the new owner. The other Ford brat, Craig Hoffman, retired from the Ford Tulsa Glass Plant 4 or 5 years ago. I heard he was a wealthy man from the stock market. Hope he's still got it with all this crap that is going on. COOL T-bird!!!

I haven't heard from Suzanne in years. I've tried and tried to remember her husband's name; his 1st name was Jeffrey, but that's not much help.
Ten acres in the country sounds lovely. I know the losses were devastating to you. I'm sure you are constantly reminded everywhere you look. We had a major tornado come through our area a few years ago and I remember the heartbreak of that...a storm on a much smaller scale.
Your vintage cars sound like fun. We're so dull; our fun is cruising the lake in our pontoon boat...and we don't even go particularly fast!

Yeah, those band days (sixth period) were what I lived for in those days. Everything's kinda hazy to me, I remember you always being so kind hearted and I remember Rufus as being a driving force and making us practice til we got it right! He actuallly played piccolo with us in the WIlliamson County Community Band a couple of years ago...he had not changed a bit except for gray hair (he was 76 yrs old then), he went to the gym 3 times a week and was in great shape. He lives in Smyrna with his wife. Can't wait to see you at the reunion...Johnny

You were lucky to have just that in damages--it was a scary time, even hear in Vicksburg--we had 85 mph winds consistently for 14 hours. A big tree fell through the house across the street from me, and totally cut there house in half. You could see from the street all the way through to the lake behind it. We didn't have any damage luckily--just a few limbs down in the yard and w/o power for a few days. Nothing like y'all had down there! We'll see you at the reunion!

Found BANDY!

Geeeeez, you'd think it was brain surgery, but nope, it's Rheumatology :)==I talked with Ross's wife today having found him with a Google search that jarred my old brain cells into remembering his given first name, Preston. Yay!

LInk to school profile

Hey. Noodling around I happened on a school profile containing information I never knew. Did I know the school was built in 1959? I don't think I did. Anyway, here it is.
