Hey, haven't been on much lately. My work has a new firewall that's blocking ning.com. I'm working on that, but meanwhile just wanted to say hi and thanks to those of ya'll who have visited the edublogs awards site to vote for my little SL blog, Oh! Virtual Learning!

MUVErs LLC just recieved its first big check from the U of WI Oshkosh for development of the first of many online nursing education medical training simulations. We're off and running. I hope everyone has a great holiday, and I'm posting a version of the Holiday card I'm sending out in SL here for all of you!

Cheers!

Scott

Ok Richard....you better quit calling us old farts. I just sent an email that asked if everyone switched from email to forum. And I am not savy at all. Karen

Mike is so eloquent in his sentiments, so there is not much to add. However, let us all hope that we stay in touch. There are so many more of us that need to hit this site and join in the conversations and memories. Let's hope that 2009 increases our membership here.

Hey I've been trying to get folks to the website but they seem adverse to it. May everyone's Christmas, Hannukah, and Holidays be filled with good health, happiness and Love.

Old habits die hard--personally, I much prefer the website. I am still trying to determine some of the fine points, like how to send a message without blaring it across the universe.
Scott, I may have to invite you and Lee Ann over under the disguise of a good meal so I can better pick your brain regarding blogs, etc....nonetheless, best wishes for a safe and peaceful end to the year.

Scott:

Seems like most of the old farts are reverting to email. I have had to relagate most to my spam filters. The website is a better venue, but not eveyone is tech savvy.

I hope you and your family have a happy and safe holiday season.

Richard

Let me know if you update your profile pic

...so I can "feature" it to get it on the front page display :) It's very easy to load up a pic. Just click "Settings," "Profile Photo," and "Browse" for a picture on your computer. Nuttin' to it!

Found BANDY!

Geeeeez, you'd think it was brain surgery, but nope, it's Rheumatology :)==I talked with Ross's wife today having found him with a Google search that jarred my old brain cells into remembering his given first name, Preston. Yay!

LInk to school profile

Hey. Noodling around I happened on a school profile containing information I never knew. Did I know the school was built in 1959? I don't think I did. Anyway, here it is.
